IED is the biggest school in Europe for Fashion, Design, Visual Arts and Communication, having now 8.000 students from 82 nationalities.Italy is a very important place where to study Fashion and Design, and IED is the only Italian Fashion and Design Schools offering so many programmes in English language (more than 40). IED is the only world network of fashion and design schools: with seats in Milan, Rome, Turin, Madrid, Barcelona, Sao Paulo, and next

IED is officially recognized by many foreign governments and universities and has the highest Italian recognition Ministry of Education (Presa d'Atto Ministeriale) IED is founding member of Cumulus (the European organization of Fashion and Design Universities) and has reciprocal recognition and exchange programs with the most important Fashion and Design Universities of the world. IED, in its 40 years of life (was founded in 1966) has trained almost 70.000 students. These students now are among the most important designers and University Deans all over the world , giving IED an incredible fame. IED has a placement office in every campus giving students the possibility of getting internships and international exposure IED works in collaboration with all TOP DESIGN HOUSES in Italy like Armani, Vogue, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, Fendi, Ferre, Ferragamo, Versace, Ferrari, Fait, 3M, Alfa Romeo, Etc.
