Though there have been many attempts at projects and developmental activities by organizations for the purpose of improving living standards of villagers, and transforming their lives in a meaningful way but there is still a lot to be done and Public Academia is here to bring about the next biggest wave of pioneering efforts towards this purpose. Public Academia recognizes the need for Sustainable Development and how Technology contributes to this effect.

What We Do

By understanding the problems at the grass roots and bringing in the relevant expertise, Public Academia (PA) is working towards pioneering many projects in the field of Education, Employment , and Energy Sufficiency and thus moving the requirements of The Village unit away from the centralized grid to increased self-sustenance.This is being done in tandem with the best Technological and Educational expertise from India and support from other countries who are keenly investing their intellectual resources and capital, in helping create better living conditions for the people.

In the rural energy sector our main focus is to create an energy pool for a group of villages where alternative energy and green fuel resources are being set up to make up for the short fall and make good the crisis being faced. This not only moves dependency away from traditional fossil fuels but also helps in reducing pollution and adding positively to the environment . In this era of Climate Change new developments on these lines and the success of such programs in other developed and developing countries, just goes to show that when implemented in India, such programs can become just as successful and effective, if not more.

In the field of Education we are investing substantial resources on creating literacy programs, opening schools for children with a curriculum relevant to their needs and at the same time articulating with our overseas partners for their concerned expertise and inputs. Recognizing that the future of India is its children, special incentive schemes are being worked upon to attract working children back to school. In addition we are also working towards developing a number of adult literacy models relevant to different districts across India .

Public Academia is also working towards formulating an ICT based Information storehouse that will function as a referral basis for farmers seeking to improve their farming methods, and help them secure an edge in the global market scenario. We intend on opening up India's rural potential at every level of Global competency and using intrinsic and international models of development, we look to take India into the next level of being able to compete and exceed in terms of quality with its regional neighbours.

As part of our rural educational drive, we are in the process of setting up forums for farmers and where farmers would be advised about modern scientific methods of growing crops, modern irrigation techniques, pest control, and ongoing training to better every aspect of cultivation.

At an International level, Public Academia is working at setting up educational tie-ups with Universities in Europe, US and Indian Universities, to expose Indian students to the latest Technological developments and cutting edge research. We function also as a technology transfer partner for companies in India seeking to better their production facilities in an effort to comply with stringent environmental regulations, as also to improve the quality of their products, and make their processes more efficient. Public Academia by virtue of its global network offers to its partners unique processes and a diverse marketing platform to market their products and services Internationally.
